Heavenly Chocolate Chip Cookies


1/2 c. Margarine
2/3 c. Shortening
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 t. Vanilla
3 1/2 c. Flour
1 t. Salt
1 t. Baking soda
12 oz. Choclolate Chips

Cream margarine and shortening until smooth. Beat in sugars, egg, and vanilla. Gradually add flour, salt, and baking soda. Blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 8-10 min. These cookies will be brown in spots, do not overbake.
